Shoppers FAQs

What items will be on sale??

At a Mum2Mum Market nearly new sale you can buy everything and anything for babies and children aged 0 - 6 years, plus a few maternity bits too.
There will be a huge selection of clothes, toys, books and you'll find barely used baby equipment like stair gates, baby bouncers, highchairs and bumbo seats.

Do I need to buy a ticket?

No, only sellers need to book in advance.  
To buy, just come along on the day and join the queue.
Entry is just £2 cash on the door

What is the entry fee?

Admission is £2 at all our events and children are free.
Please have the correct money to pay on the door as change is limited.

What if it rains? Will the market still go ahead?

Yes!  All our events are indoors so we are warm and dry whatever the weather

What do I need to bring with me?

Our events are cash only so you will need to bring plenty of cash (avoid large notes- most sellers will struggle to change a £20 or £50 note)

Make a list of things you need so you don't get distracted by all the lovely bargains!

​Bring a bag to carry all your goodies home.

Can I shop with my pushcahir?

Yes you can.  However, it is likely to be busy and you might find it easier if you can use a sling, or shop during the second hour to avoid the crowds.

Do you take cards?

No, our events are cash only. 
All our stall holders are parents who are selling their own kids belongings onto other parents, so they won't be equipped with card readers.

Is there an ATM on site?

No.  We run our events in church halls, school halls and community centres so they don't usually have ATM machines on site.  You will need to bring cash with you.

Can dads shop at a Mum2Mum Market?

Yes, of course.  Everyone is most welcome  and we have lots of dads and grandparents shopping at our events- not just mums!
