Getting to Bishop Gilpin Primary School
Bishop Gilpin is 5 minutes walk from Wimbledon town centre- close to all town centre buses, train, tram and tube. There is plentiful FREE parking on all the surrounding roads. BY BUS: The 493 (Tooting-Richmond) and 156 (Vauxhall- Wimbledon) buses stop very close to the school (near the big Waitrose). Walk up Leopold road- past the shops and turn left into Lake Road, just before Ricards Lodge school. BY TRAIN/ TUBE/TRAM: From Wimbledon Station exit RIGHT and head towards Elys Department store and past Wimbledon library. At the traffic lights turn right uicards Lodge Woodside. A little way up Woodside he road splits and you need to take the left fork up Lake Road. The entrance to Ricards Lodge is towards the top of Lake Road on the left after Bishop Gilpin primary school.
BY CAR: The best option is to put SW19 7HB into sat nav. Ricards Lodge is at the junction of Leopold Road and Lake Road, just off Alexandra Rd and Gap Road which is the B235 between Wimbledon and Tooting. There are 120 FREE car parking spaces on site and more free parking on all the surrounding roads. |
