BUYERS GUIDE: What to expect from a mum2mum market nearly-new sale

Buy fantastic second hand baby bargains at a mum2mum market baby and children's nearly new sale

_ If you haven’t been to a mum2mum market baby and children's nearly new sale before here’s a run down of what to expect!


Everyone is welcome- there are no advance tickets- it’s £2 on the door for everyone (or 2 for a £2 if you download a voucher from the website) and first come first served. 
If you are keen to buy a particular item then arrive early- queues start to form at least 20 minutes before the sale start time.

It can get really busy at the beginning of our nearly new sales with a large crowd all looking for a bargain.  If you are heavily pregnant and want to avoid the crowds come a little bit later. The second hour is always much quieter and there are still loads of fantastic secondhand baby bargains  We also have free admission for the last half hour if you want to see prices slashed at the end of the sale!

All ournearly-new sellers are mums (or dads) selling their own second hand children’s clothes, toys, books and equipment.  Sellers will be selling everything and anything  related to babies, kids and pregnancy- even things like breast pumps that other similar nearly-new sales ban.

Bring plenty of cash- sellers won’t be able to take cards or cheques.

Most of our second hand seller mums  will price their items, or group them together eg everything £1 to make things easier for you.   But you are still welcome to negotiate on price- especially if you are buying lots of things from the same seller or a large item…… so don’t be shy!

If you need to take a break from the sale and put your feet up we will have a seating area available.  At some sales we also have a super yummy cake stall to tempt you!

We aim to use venues that have excellent public transport links and parking (preferably free) close by.  I will always try to get a map and transport and parking details on the website before the sale.
