Meet the team: Jaime When I saw Cath on Dragons Dens I knew that Mum2mum Markets is something that I would love to be a part of. It all sounded so interesting, earning an income while helping sellers off load preloved goods to make money and buyers to purchase great quality items at the fraction of the high street prices. I like how Mum2mum allows a small number of baby related businesses to come along to the markets, I think it’s a great opportunity for small local businesses. I emailed to enquire and quickly heard back, I was so nervous when I spoke to Cath’s husband that my mind went completely blank and I could not remember any of the questions that I had to ask After lots of thinking and discussing with Richard, I decide to go ahead and purchase the franchise for Dundee and Angus. It turns out to the be best decision I could of ever made as it allowed me to leave my full time job working with adults with Additional Needs and be at home more with my family. 'Working with mum2mum has allowed me to earn money, reduce childcare costs and allow me to do the majority of work while the kids are in bed.' So far I have had 4 markets in Dundee and 2 in Arbroath. I have learned so much along the way and strive to improve each market I have. We have a group that allows all the franchisees to talk and they are all so helpful with giving advice and sharing their own up’s and down’s. At the end of 2016 I decided I decided to expand my franchise into Perth to make these fantastic markets available for even more people. Working with mum2mum has allowed me to earn money, reduce childcare costs and allow me to do the majority of work while the kids are in bed. I really do love running these sales and my favourite bit is seeing the buyers leaving all happy with the bargains they have picked up. I usually end up getting lots too.
